Patents
Forming a strong patent portfolio supporting our technology is a major priority of our company. We currently have the following granted patents:
- US 10,876,173 System and method for biometrics identification and pupillometry
- US 11,275,937 Quantum biometric identification of ultrahigh security based on the quantum statistics of photodetection by the human retina
Acceleration
We are appreciative for our inclusion in the National Registry of Greek start-ups Elevate Greece. We are also fortunate to be involved in two high-quality business acceleration programs, from which we have received valuable advice. We were one of the 20 European biotech companies to participate in the 2022 EIT Health Innostars program, accompanied by a financial award. Further, we are among the 15 Greek biotech companies joining the 2022-2023 cohort of Eurobank’s EGG acceleration program.
Funding
We acknowledge the financial support by European Union and Greek national funds through the Operational Programs (a) Crete 2020-2024, under the call “Partnerships of Companies with Institutions for Research and Transfer of Knowledge in the Thematic Priorities of RIS3Crete,” with the project title “Analyzing urban dynamics through monitoring the city magnetic environment” (Project KPHP1-No. 0029067), and (b) Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation, under the call “RESEARCH-CREATE-INNOVATE,” with project title “Photonic analysis of the retina’s biometric photoabsorption” (project code: T1EDK-04921).
